About Emily Jones
Emily Jones was born and raised in Jackson County, Alabama, and now lives in Madison with her son. A graduate of Pisgah High School and Jacksonville State University, she brings nearly 20 years of experience in financial management, including over a decade with the Department of Defense.
Her advocacy began not in an office—but at home, as a mother. During COVID, her young son struggled in school. When Emily asked questions, requested curriculum details, and challenged school mandates, she was met with resistance. In one case, she was only allowed to view curriculum under supervision.
That experience revealed a deeper issue: too many schools shut parents out. What started as a fight for her own child became a mission to defend transparency, academic excellence, and parental rights.
Emily isn’t running to be a politician—she’s running to ensure families have a voice and students have a future. Rooted in faith, facts, and integrity, she’s ready to lead for Alabama.
“Freedom in education means knowing what our kids are being taught—and working together to give them the best chance at a strong future.”
