Transgenderism and the Cultural Battle.

Posted by Team Emily Jones

In this post, Emily Jones takes aim at one of the most urgent cultural battles facing families today: the push to introduce gender ideology to children at the earliest stages of learning. While many assume these ideas only surface in college lecture halls, Jones warns that indoctrination begins long before students ever fill out an SAT form or apply to a university.

The discussion highlights how programs and materials promoting gender confusion are being woven into elementary schools and even preschools. School counselors, activist-approved library books, and taxpayer-funded social-emotional learning programs have become tools for embedding ideology into the classroom without parental consent. By the time children reach adolescence, Jones argues, the seeds of confusion and activism are already deeply rooted.

Jones points to Florida as a model for how red states can respond. Through laws like the Parental Rights in Education Act, restrictions on pronoun use, and protections against gender-related medical interventions for minors, Florida has demonstrated that strong leadership combined with grassroots parent involvement can turn the tide. Importantly, these changes were not just legislative. The Florida State Board of Education acted decisively to expand protections when parents demanded stronger safeguards, proving that real change requires courage from both policymakers and parents.

On the other side of the spectrum, Jones warns about the dangers of California’s approach, where schools have been allowed to conceal gender identity changes from parents and push radical curriculum materials down to the youngest grades. She stresses that these policies rarely stay confined to blue states. What is normalized in California often finds its way into conservative districts through national curriculum providers and teacher unions.

Throughout the conversation, Jones emphasizes that red states must not delay. Laws must have enforcement mechanisms with real consequences for those who violate parental rights. Without accountability, she says, policies are just wish lists. To protect children and preserve the authority of parents, conservative leaders must act decisively and codify protections into law before ideology spreads further.
